GRADUATE PROGRAM
The Faculty of Physics offers a wide range of research activities and programs leading to MSc and PhD degrees. The Physics department has a strong international reputation for its research and a research environment that is welcoming and collaborative. Currently the department is the home for 29 research professors who supervise approximately 120 graduate students.
Established in 1967, UNIVERSITY OF TABRIZ Physics has one of the oldest and most comprehensive Atomic and Molecular and Condensed matter programs in Iran. While continuing to develop in the condensed matter field, the program has expanded and broadened its research activities, housing exceptional facilities for nanoimaging, epitaxial-material growth, single molecule manipulation, cell and molecular biology, ultrafast spectroscopy, cold-atom and ion trapping, and low-field magnetic resonance. UNIVERSITY OF TABRIZ Physics also collaborates with Applied Physics Institute and ICMP, Iran's national center for Theoretical physics.
